The engagement ceremony was held at Vijay’s home in Hyderabad on Friday, attended by close family members and friends from both sides. Reports suggest that the couple is planning to tie the knot in February next year.

Vijay and Rashmika, who shared the screen in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, have been rumored to be romantically involved for several years. While neither has made an official statement, hints on social media from the couple and their families have fueled the speculation. At present, the pair is working together on a new project directed by Rahul Sankrityayan.
