The 43rd annual India Day Parade, organized by the Federation of Indian Associations, was held in New York to mark India’s 79th Independence Day. Thousands of Indian-Americans and dignitaries, including Congressman Thanedar and New York Mayor Eric Adams, joined the celebration, the largest Indian parade outside India.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna led the celebration as Grand Marshals, bringing star power and cultural pride to the occasion. Their presence drew huge attention, with photos and videos going viral online.
