Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom roars into success, raking in an impressive ₹53 crore merely 48 hours after hitting theatres. Though two parts were announced earlier, Vijay confirmed there will also be a third. Part 2 continues the current story, with a major role for Sethu and a deeper arc for the heroine, including a war between her and the hero. It will be released after Vijay’s other commitments.

Fans speculated about Part 2, but Vijay revealed that Part 3 will be a prequel set in the 1920s, exploring the tribe and the king’s origin. The film was initially titled Devara Nayaka, but was renamed to avoid confusion with NTR’s Devara.

So, Kingdom will span three parts: Part 2 delves into the hero’s identity as an Indian spy and a vengeful heroine, while Part 3 uncovers the backstory of the tribe and the rise of the king.
