Vijay Rashmika engagement
Reports surrounding the wedding of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna continue to generate significant buzz. Although the couple has not officially confirmed their wedding date, sources suggest that the ceremony is expected to take place on the 26th of this month in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
According to industry reports, the couple has declined a substantial offer from Netflix for the exclusive streaming rights to their wedding video. The OTT platform reportedly proposed a deal valued at Rs 60 crore for exclusive access to the ceremony footage. However, Vijay and Rashmika are said to have turned down the proposal.
Sources indicate that the decision was influenced by past legal controversies surrounding celebrity wedding content, particularly the issues that emerged during Nayanthara’s wedding video dispute.
Insiders reveal that Vijay Deverakonda is keen on maintaining complete privacy for the ceremony. The couple reportedly does not wish to commercialize the event and instead intends to keep it an intimate affair attended only by close family members and select friends from the industry.
Meanwhile, the pair recently traveled to Rome to celebrate the New Year. Although they did not publicly confirm their vacation together, fans speculated about their trip after both actors shared pictures from the same location on social media.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s association began with the successful film Geetha Govindam, which marked the beginning of their widely discussed bond. Reports also suggest that the couple got engaged in October last year, further fueling anticipation surrounding their wedding.
