Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom Likely Delayed Again

Hyderabad: Fans of Vijay Deverakonda, who have been eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film Kingdom, may face disappointment once again. The film, which has already been postponed twice, is likely to miss its recently announced July 4 release date as well.Initially slated for release on May 30, Kingdom was later pushed to July 4. However, with promotions of another film—starring Nithiin’s younger brother—already underway for the same date, industry buzz suggests that Kingdom might get postponed once again.

According to inside sources, the delay is primarily due to the pending post-production work. Music director Anirudh Ravichander is reportedly yet to complete the film’s re-recording and background score. The team is aiming to finish the remaining work by the end of this month, after which a new release date is expected to be announced.

Directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, Kingdom is a period action drama featuring Vijay Deverakonda in the role of a spy. The film stars Bhagyashree Borse opposite Vijay and is being produced on a massive budget of ₹110 crore by Srikara Studios in collaboration with Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. While the production team is preparing to ramp up promotional activities soon, fans of the “Rowdy Hero” are growing increasingly restless over the repeated delays caused by incomplete post-production work.
