It is a rare condition that can appear anywhere on the body, where the skin loses pigmentation, forming white patches. According to doctors, when the melanin cells in the skin deplete, these white patches appear. However, it is not contagious and cannot spread through touch. There is no definitive cure for it, but there are treatments available that can help control its spread, such as creams and medications. Laser therapy is also used in some cases.
