Virupaksha Director Karthik Varma Dandu Gets Engaged to Harshita

Karthik Varma Dandu, who delivered a blockbuster as a director with the film Virupaksha, got engaged quietly without much buzz. The engagement ceremony was held on Sunday at the girl’s residence. Fellow directors have been congratulating Karthik on the occasion. He even shared his engagement video on Instagram. So, who is the girl? And when is the wedding?

Karthik Varma Dandu is a protege of director Sukumar. He has experience working as a writer for the movie Karthikeya. In 2015, he debuted as a director with the film Bham Bholenath. However, the movie didn’t succeed as expected, so he didn’t attempt another project for a while. After a long break, he made Virupaksha with mega hero Sai Dharam Tej, which turned out to be a super hit.

Following the success of Virupaksha, he landed an opportunity to direct a film with Naga Chaitanya. He is currently busy with that project, and the shooting is reportedly already underway. While building his career as a director, Karthik Varma is also stepping into family life. On Sunday, he got engaged to a girl named Harshita. She does not belong to the film industry and appears to be a relative. Reports suggest the wedding might take place later this year.
