The film became a blockbuster, earning over ₹50 crore and setting a record as the number one Tamil movie released during Sankranti. Madha Gaja Raja, an action-comedy entertainer, continues to perform successfully at the box office, offering audiences a memorable experience. Vishal impressed with his power-packed action, while Santhanam’s comedy stood out as a special attraction. Director Sundar C. delivered wholesome entertainment with all commercial elements.

The songs composed by Vijay Antony captivated the audience, and the makers have expressed confidence that the movie, which was a massive success in Tamil, will equally enthrall Telugu audiences.
