Vishwak Sen's Laila Movie Gets 'A' Certificate
Actor Vishwak Sen announced that the censor board has given an "A" certificate to his upcoming film Laila. He stated that the reason behind this certification will become clear to the audience after the film’s release. In a recent interview, he mentioned that the movie is designed to entertain the youth completely.
Speaking about film selection, Vishwak Sen said, “I am very careful while choosing scripts. My goal is to entertain a wider audience with every film. Viewers are no longer interested in routine stories. When director Ram Narayan narrated the story of Laila, I kept laughing throughout and felt it was a must-do project. However, when I heard about the lady get-up, I hesitated a bit. After stepping onto the set, I realized how challenging it was. A dedicated team worked on my look, and after testing three different get-ups, we finalized the one seen in the film. I even did waxing and grew my nails for the role, keeping them untrimmed until the portion was completely shot. It was uncomfortable for two days, but I eventually got used to it.”
Following Mechanic Rocky, Laila is Vishwak Sen’s next film, where he appears in a lady get-up for the first time. The film follows Sonu, a beauty parlor owner, who unexpectedly transforms into Laila and the challenges he faces. Directed by Ram Narayan, the movie stars Akanksha Sharma as the female lead. Laila is set to release on February 14, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. The promotional content has already intrigued audiences, and the pre-release event is scheduled for Sunday evening.
