Tollywood filmmaker Puri Jagannadh has finally responded to the ongoing rumours about his connection with actress and producer Charmme Kaur that have been spreading across social media. The director clarified that there is no romantic involvement between the two and described their bond as purely friendly and professional.

Speaking about it, Puri said, “I have known Charmme since I was 13 years old. We have shared a good friendship for nearly two decades. Although we have collaborated on several film projects, there has never been any romantic angle between us.”

The director further explained the reason behind the ongoing gossip. He stated that such speculations arise mainly because Charmme is unmarried. “Since she is single, people tend to make assumptions. If she were married and around 50 years old, such news wouldn’t have gained any attention,” Puri added with a hint of humor.

He concluded by saying that his relationship with Charmme has always been one of mutual respect and long-standing friendship, putting an end to the widespread rumors once and for all.
