New Case Filed Against RGV Over Controversial Remarks on Hindu Deities

Rajahmundry, AP, India: Tollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is facing another legal case in Rajahmundry district. In a recent interview, he allegedly made offensive comments targeting Hindu gods, the Indian Army, and people from Andhra Pradesh.

The complaint was lodged by Meda Srinivas, founder and president of the Rashtriya Praja Congress Party. Following the complaint, the local police have officially registered a case. Additionally, a case has also been filed against the television anchor who conducted the interview with Verma. The complainant is demanding that both RGV and the anchor be arrested and issue a formal apology.
