The makers of the upcoming Telugu-Tamil heist thriller, Zebra, starring Satyadev and Dhananjaya in lead roles, have announced that the film has successfully cleared its censorship process and received a U/A certificate. The trailer, which was recently released, showcases Satyadev as a bank employee who runs a scam to support his family. However, things go awry, and he finds himself in conflict with a powerful character, Dali, played by Dhananjaya. The film is set to explore the themes of greed versus self-respect in a quirky narrative style.
Zebra is directed by Easvar Karthic, who previously directed the Keerthy Suresh starrer Penguin. The thriller is produced by SN Reddy, S Padmaja, Bala Sundaram, and Dinesh Sundaram under the banners of Padmaja Films Private Ltd and Old Town Pictures. The film also features an extended cast, including Satya, Satyaraj, Jennifer Piccinato, Priya Shankar Bhavani, and Sunil, among others.
The technical team of Zebra includes music by Ravi Basrur, renowned for his work on KGF, which has contributed to the film's growing buzz. Satya Ponmar is the cinematographer, and Anil Krish is handling the editing. The heist thriller is set to release on November 22 in major pan-Indian languages, and it will face competition from Vishwak Sen's Mechanic Rocky.
