His sister further stirred the situation by claiming Ayesha converted from Hinduism to Islam to marry Adnaan.
In their first public appearance after the wedding, the couple, dressed in coordinated white outfits, was seen at the airport, possibly heading for Umrah. Addressing the criticism, Adnaan stated he wanted to keep his wife out of the spotlight, citing privacy and concerns about the "evil eye."
