The much-anticipated crime action-thriller Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, is set to release on October 10. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, this film marks the duo's reunion after 32 years and Amitabh’s Telugu debut.

Pre-bookings are already available in many cities, with tickets selling rapidly. In Chennai, AGS Cinemas T Nagar is fully booked for Thursday, while Kerala's pre-sales have reached ₹50 lakh, with over 26,000 tickets sold.

The recently released trailer has heightened excitement, featuring Rajinikanth as a brutal criminal, alongside Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati. Vettaiyan has received a U/A Certificate from the CBFC, indicating parental guidance for children under 12. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film has a budget of ₹160 crore and features a cast that includes Manju Warrier and Anirudh Ravichander.
