Kollywood actor Ajith Kumar has achieved a notable international recognition. He was honoured with the prestigious "Gentleman Driver of the Year 2025" award, marking a proud moment in his motorsport journey. His wife Shalini attended the ceremony with him and later shared a heartfelt note expressing her joy.

In her message, she wrote, “It is a privilege to stand beside my husband here in Venice. He has been awarded ‘Gentleman Driver of the Year 2025’ in memory of the late racing icon Philippe Charriol.”

The award was presented by SRO Motorsports Group, a major organisation in global GT racing. Over the past year, Ajith fulfilled his long-held ambition of becoming a professional racer. He represented India in four challenging international racing events, earning significant appreciation and making the nation proud. Apart from leading his own team, he also competed alongside other racers as part of team collaborations.

During the event, Ajith remarked, “This year has given me countless unforgettable moments. But those stories can wait. What matters is that every lap and every hurdle makes us stronger. This is only the start.”
