Allu Arjun Arrested Following Deadly Theatre Stampede, Hospitalized For Medical Check Up

Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with a stampede at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre on December 4, where a woman, Revathi, died from asphyxiation, and her son was injured. The crowd gathered for a Pushpa 2 screening, and negligence claims were made against the actor, his security, and the theatre management. Following a complaint, an FIR was filed, and Arjun was taken to Chikkadapally police station for questioning before being shifted to Osmania Hospital for a check-up.

The arrest sparked political reactions, with KT Rama Rao defending Arjun, claiming he wasn’t directly responsible. Arjun's father, Allu Aravind, and brother, Allu Sirish, were present at the police station. His bodyguard, Santosh, was also arrested. A non-bailable section was invoked, and the investigation is ongoing.
