Hong Kong, China: Renowned Chinese actor Bruce Leung Siu-lung, popularly known as Bruce Leung, has died. He had been dealing with heart-related ailments for a considerable period and breathed his last on Wednesday, January 14. The information about his demise surfaced later in the day.

Leung began his journey in the film industry in 1971 and remained active for decades. His most recent on-screen appearance was in a Chinese television series released in 2020. Born as Leung Choi-sang, he carved a lasting identity under his stage name and became a respected figure in action cinema.

Born in 1948, Leung was widely admired for his mastery of martial arts. He transitioned into films and went on to appear in over 100 Hong Kong productions. In 2004, he gained global recognition for portraying a memorable antagonist in Kung Fu Hustle.

The film, which was also dubbed into Telugu, achieved notable success with audiences. One of its most talked-about moments remains the intense Kappa-style combat sequence, a scene that continues to be discussed and praised by fans even today.
