BTS Member J-Hope Prepares for Military Discharge with Heartfelt Letter

J-Hope military discharge

BTS's J-Hope is set to be discharged from the military next month. He shared a heartfelt letter on Weverse, reflecting on his time in training. J-Hope, whose real name is Jung Hoseok, admitted he was initially nervous but has grown fond of his experiences. As he prepares to leave, he's been packing up and reminiscing about his journey, including his early anxieties.

He wrote, “With exactly 30 days left, I’m starting to feel emotional as my locker empties. I remember my early days, feeling nervous and unsure. Seeing recruits now reminds me of myself back then. I’m proud of how far I’ve come.”

J-Hope also mentioned enjoying a holiday break and wished his fans a joyful Chuseok. He concluded with, “I’ll see you all in a month. Stay healthy until then!” Jungkook responded encouragingly, saying, “You worked hard, jjya-hope.” J-Hope will be the second BTS member to complete military service, following Jin’s discharge earlier this year.
