Nandamuri fans were left stunned when the 1 AM shows of Devara at Kukatpally Brahmarambha - Mallikarjuna Theater were unexpectedly canceled. A notice was posted outside the theater announcing the cancellation, despite tickets for the show having already been sold.

The cancellation appears to stem from a conflict between the film distributor and the theater management over ticket pricing. Although regular shows will resume from 4 AM, the 1 AM slot will not be available.

For many fans, this theater holds sentimental value, as it has been a favorite for screenings of Nandamuri heroes’ films. Notably, Balakrishna and members of Rajamouli's family have attended the first shows here. It’s reported that the theater management sought a larger share of the ticket revenue due to the film's popularity, but the distributor disagreed, leading to the cancellation of the late-night show.
