Jr NTR's highly anticipated film Devara, set to release on September 27, 2024, is already making waves at the US box office. The film has broken records by becoming the fastest Indian movie to reach $1.2 million (over Rs 8 crore) in pre-sales, with over 32,000 tickets sold across 276 locations. Of this amount, $85,000 is from the film's opening day in the US.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara marks Jr NTR's 30th film and features him in dual roles as both father and son. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor in her South film debut, Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role, and Ramya Krishna. Known for its high-octane action sequences and a significant budget of Rs 140 crore dedicated to VFX, Devara aims to captivate audiences similar to RRR.

At the recent trailer launch, Jr NTR expressed his nervousness about the film, highlighting it as his first solo release in six years. The film has already received a U/A certificate from the CBFC in India.
