IIFA Utsavam 2024 Winners Highlight Nani and Jailer
At the IIFA Utsavam 2024, in Abu Dhabi, Nani won Best Actor (Telugu) for Dasara, while Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, took home Best Film (Tamil).
Mani Ratnam was awarded Best Director (Tamil) for Ponniyin Selvan: II, with Aishwarya Rai winning Best Actress (Tamil) for her role in the same film. Vikram also won Best Actor (Tamil) for Ponniyin Selvan: II.
Megastar Chiranjeevi received the prestigious Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema award, presented by Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was honored as the Woman of the Year in Indian Cinema, and AR Rahman took home the Best Music Direction (Tamil) award. Priyadarshan was recognized for his Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema, while Nandamuri Balakrishna received the Golden Legacy Award.
The night it featured a star-studded lineup including AR Rahman, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, and many others.
