Producer KE Gnanavel Raja expressed confidence that the upcoming film Kanguva, starring Suriya and directed by Siva, will collect Rs 2000 crore at the box office upon its release on November 14, after being rescheduled from October 10. The film features a storyline combining an ancient warrior's fight for his people with that of a modern-day police officer and will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English. It also stars Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, and Prakash Raj, with music by Devi Sri Prasad.
