Kannappa Movie Update: Prabhas' 30 Minute Extended Cameo Confirmed

Young Rebel Star Prabhas, currently wrapping up his lead projects, is also appearing in a special role in Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu. The film, based on the legend of Kannappa, features top actors from Tollywood, Bollywood, Malayalam, and Tamil industries.

Vishnu Manchu confirmed that the movie’s total duration is 3 hours and 10 minutes. Initially planned as a cameo, Prabhas’s role was extended, and he now appears in the last 50 minutes of the film as Rudra. Mohanlal will appear for 15 minutes, while Akshay Kumar plays Lord Shiva for 10 minutes.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, Kannappa boasts high-end VFX and technical standards. A new song, "Srikala Hasti," sung by Vishnu’s daughters Ariyana and Viviana with music by Stephen Devassi, will release on the 28th.

It remains to be seen if this massive project will mark a comeback success for Vishnu after a series of flops.
