Lady Gaga has revealed that her upcoming album, Harlequin, the soundtrack for the highly anticipated film Joker: Folie Deux, will be released on September 27. The album features 13 songs and comes as fans eagerly await the film's theatrical release next month. Gaga, who stars as Harleen Quinzel alongside Joaquin Phoenix, previously teased the release of the album's first single.

Sharing the album poster, Gaga wrote, “Harlequin. September 27. A companion album to Joker: Folie  Deux.” Fans have expressed their excitement, with one commenting, “You are the greatest pop artist of the generation,” and another saying, “We are ready.”

In her role, Gaga mentioned to Vogue that she wrote a waltz for the film and collaborated with live pianist Alex Smith for her scenes, highlighting her character's blend of maturity and immaturity.

The film follows Arthur Fleck, aka The Joker, in an asylum as he navigates his complex relationship with love while awaiting trial. The cast also includes Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Zazie Beetz. The original Joker film, screened at the same festival, won the Golden Lion and earned Phoenix an Academy Award for Best Actor.
