Manika Vishwakarma Represents India at Miss Universe 2025, Stuns With Answer

Manika Vishwakarma is proudly representing India at this year’s Miss Universe competition in Thailand. On Sunday, she participated in the chain reaction question segment alongside other contestants. During this session, an interviewer posed the same question to Manika that former Miss Universe (1994) Sushmita Sen had once answered. Manika responded impressively, emphasizing that a woman can leave a mark not only through her appearance but also through her intellect.

The question, originally asked to Sushmita Sen, was: "What does being a woman mean to you?" Manika, 22, faced the same query at the Miss Universe pageant and delivered a thoughtful answer. While Sushmita explained that being a woman is about the ability to nurture and sustain life, Manika added a deeper perspective. She stated, "Society often assigns women multiple roles, but we seek recognition as individuals and human beings. We possess the power to grow, to give life, and to enhance the beauty around us. Being a woman isn’t just about making things prettier—it’s about embracing and expanding life itself. In essence, a woman embodies infinity."

Manika, who hails from Delhi, is currently completing her final year in Political Science and Economics. She earned the title of Miss Universe India 2025 in August. The 74th Miss Universe pageant is scheduled for November 21 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
