Mission Santa Movie: Indian Animation’s Next Global Leap After Mahavatar Narasimha

After the strong impact of the Indian animated film Mahaavatar Narasimha, another major Indian animation project titled Mission Santa is gearing up for release.

Mahaavatar Narasimha, which was recently adapted into an animated feature, gained widespread popularity across India. Building on this momentum, a new large-scale animated movie is now set to reach audiences. Titled Mission Santa, the film has been produced to meet global quality benchmarks. This high-profile animated feature is scheduled for a simultaneous theatrical release in India, France, Germany, and several other countries on the 25th of this month, making it a special Christmas offering.

According to the filmmakers, Mission Santa is a fast-paced animated adventure centered on a family-oriented storyline. They stated that the film combines strong animation quality, emotional depth, entertainment, and thrilling sequences, delivering an engaging cinematic experience. The creators added that the movie is designed to appeal to viewers of all age groups, with children, parents, and grandparents all expected to enjoy it equally.

The makers described Mission Santa as a significant achievement for the Indian animation sector. They revealed that the story development, screenplay, and character designs were created in Los Angeles, while the complete animation production was carried out in India under the guidance of experienced Indian animation specialists. More than 150 Indian animation professionals contributed to the project over a production period of approximately 20 months. The film will be released in English and aims to offer audiences a premium theatrical animation experience. Conceived by Broadvision India and Studio 56, the project was developed with the vision of transforming Indian animation from a service-driven model into a globally competitive creative and commercial force.
