The biopic of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hit the silver screen. The film was announced on his birthday. Directed by Kranti Kumar, the movie has been titled ‘Maa Vande’. Popular Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan will be playing the role of Modi. A poster was released with the tagline, "A mother's Courage is Stronger then many battles"

The film will be produced by Silver Cast Creations. The filmmakers say that the movie is being made entirely based on real events. It will showcase his journey from childhood to becoming the Prime Minister of the country. In particular, the film will highlight the bond between Prime Minister Modi and his mother, Hira Ben.
