Netflix has renewed The Night Agent for a third season before the second season's release. Season 2 will premiere in winter 2025, delayed from its original 2024 schedule. Production for Season 3 is set to begin later this year in Istanbul and will continue in New York in 2025.

The series follows Peter Sutherland, played by Gabriel Basso, who, after saving the U.S. President in Season 1, embarks on his journey as a secret agent in a world of danger and mistrust. Each season will feature a self-contained story with some recurring characters.
