New Photos of Jimin and Jungkook From Military Service

Both stars are currently undergoing their 18-month training with fellow members Suga, V, J-Hope, and RM. Jin, the first member to enlist, completed his service and was discharged on June 12, while Jimin and Jungkook began their duties in December.

Fans quickly shared the new images, with some noting a new badge on Jimin’s uniform that many speculate signifies his status as a special forces soldier. Discussions arose regarding the requirements to earn such a badge, with one fan stating, “Conditions for becoming a special warrior – Shooting – A hit rate of 90% (18 shots) or higher out of 20 shots. Jimin is our special warrior. OMG, I’m so proud of him!”

Earlier, more photos of the two surfaced, showing Jungkook leaning on a fellow soldier, showcasing his tattooed arm, while Jimin posed confidently. Both appeared noticeably more muscular. Additionally, Jimin's signed jacket was included in the collection of soldier photos.

In May, V also shared military facility pictures on his now-deleted Instagram Stories, where he posed with fellow soldiers in full gear and shared a photo of his pet Pomeranian, Yeontan.

Amidst their military duties, Jimin and Jungkook have been entertaining fans with their travel show Are You Sure?, which premiered its first two episodes on Disney Plus on August 8, wrapping up with the season finale on September 19. They are serving together under the Buddy System, allowing them to be alongside close friends during their training.
