The acclaimed director will present a special tableau celebrating Indian cinema at the Republic Day Parade, scheduled to take place on January 26 at Kartavya Path, New Delhi.
Bhansali’s tableau is designed to showcase the remarkable 113-year journey of Indian cinema, highlighting its major milestones and memorable moments. The presentation will reflect not only the evolution of Hindi cinema but also the richness and diversity of regional language films, offering a comprehensive tribute to India’s cinematic legacy.
Despite his busy schedule, Bhansali accepted the invitation from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting without hesitation. He is currently directing the much-anticipated film Love and War, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Over the past two months, the filmmaker reportedly worked tirelessly, dedicating himself day and night to bring this ambitious tableau to life.
