Shiloh Jolie Legally Drops 'Pitt' From Her Last Name

Shiloh Jolie legal name change details

Shiloh Jolie, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has legally changed her last name, dropping “Pitt” and now officially being known as Shiloh Jolie. This decision was finalized on August 19, following a delay due to a clerical error with her background check.

Shiloh, who turned 18 recently, filed the petition for the name change in May. Legal procedures in California require a name change request to be published in a newspaper for a month before a judge can approve it. Shiloh’s request was published in the Los Angeles Times.

Brad Pitt was reportedly aware of his daughter’s choice and is saddened by the decision, reflecting on the loss of connection with his children.
