Stranger Things Series Finale to Hit Theatres
Los Angeles, California, USA: The highly anticipated two-hour finale of Stranger Things is scheduled for a theatrical release, marking the first occasion the Netflix series will be shown on the big screen.
The series, created by Matt and Ross Duffer—collectively known as The Duffer Brothers—will conclude with its fifth season, which will be available on Netflix. This final season consists of eight episodes, divided into three separate parts.
The first two parts will be available for streaming on November 26 and December 25, while the ultimate episode is set to release on December 31.
According to the entertainment outlet Variety, the finale episode, titled “The Rightside Up,” will also be presented in 350 movie theatres nationwide on December 31.
Set during the 1980s, Stranger Things tells the story of the inhabitants of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, after a young girl with psychic abilities opens a portal between Earth and a dangerous parallel dimension. The series stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, and Millie Bobby Brown as Jane Hopper, along with several other cast members.
Since its debut in 2016, the sci-fi horror series has received widespread acclaim and popularity, followed by subsequent seasons in 2017, 2019, and 2022.
