Udaipur, Rajasthan, India: American pop icon Jennifer Lopez once again became the centre of attention in Udaipur, where she reportedly earned an astonishing ₹17 crore for her appearance and grand performance at the Mantena–Gadiraju wedding.

This week, the singer arrived in Udaipur wearing a rose-gold custom couture saree, instantly capturing the gaze of even India’s most seasoned luxury-wedding attendees.

A Royal-Scale Celebration in Udaipur

The wedding of Netra Mantena, daughter of US-based pharma billionaire Rama Raju Mantena, and Vamsi Gadiraju, co-founder of Superorder, transformed Udaipur into a spectacular wedding destination in 2025.

Held between November 21 and 24, the celebrations sprawled across iconic venues — The Leela Palace, Taj Lake Palace, City Palace, Jagmandir Island Palace and Zenana Mahal.

The main ceremony at Jagmandir turned the 17th-century marble courtyard into an elaborate floral setup, where the bride wore a rich Sabyasachi red and the groom chose classic cream.

A long line of industry leaders, celebrities and high-profile guests filled the event. Donald Trump Jr was among the prominent attendees. Bollywood and Hollywood personalities mingled with entrepreneurs and global investors, while names like Dia Mirza, Amyra Dastur, Sophie Choudry and Karan Johar hosted various festivities.

The entertainment roster was packed with star performers — Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Madhuri Dixit and Varun Dhawan.

Varun and Sukhbir, reportedly paid ₹3–4 crore each, delivered high-energy acts that kept the crowd celebrating till daybreak.

Ranveer Singh’s electrifying performance, including moments dancing with the brideand Bettina Anderson (Donald Trump Jr’s partner), quickly went viral online.

Jennifer Lopez’s Grand Finale

Despite the star-studded lineup, Jennifer Lopez dominated the conversation. Reports indicate she was paid ₹17 crore for her closing act at the post-wedding celebration on Sunday.

She appeared in a rose-gold draped saree with a sculpted, gown-like silhouette and a corset-style bodice detailed with fine handwork. A pastel gemstone choker, drop earrings and a bracelet added icy green contrast to the shimmering metallic attire — creating a look that felt straight out of a cinematic sequence.

Her Second Udaipur Wedding Performance

This was not Lopez’s first time performing at a lavish Udaipur wedding. Nearly a decade earlier, she headlined the 2015 wedding of Sanjay Hinduja and Anusuya Mahtani, a massive event estimated at ₹150 crore.

Before that wedding moved to Udaipur, the Hinduja family hosted two grand pre-wedding parties in Mumbai — one at their Juhu residence, attended by political leaders like Devendra Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray, featuring cuisine from over a dozen countries. Another reception at the Taj Mahal Palace welcomed about 3,000 guests with an entirely vegetarian menu.

At the Udaipur sangeet in Taj Lake Palace, Nicole Scherzinger performed to Tune Maari Entriyaan with Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, reportedly earning ₹40 lakh.

But Jennifer Lopez was the main attraction, charging approximately ₹6.5 crore for her performance.

Lopez arrived with then-partner Casper Smart and stayed in the luxurious Kohinoor Suite at The Oberoi Udaivilas, costing around ₹3 lakh per night.

The wedding’s scale matched its guest list — around 208 chartered flights worth ₹20 crore ferried guests, while hundreds of BMWs with private chauffeurs were stationed for transportation. Celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Malaika Arora, Dino Morea and Preity Zinta were among the attendees.
