Will Smith Wants Shah Rukh Khan Film After Salman, Amitabh Projects Failed

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Hollywood star Will Smith has revealed that earlier discussions to collaborate with Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan did not materialize, and he now hopes Shah Rukh Khan will cast him in a Bollywood film. Smith shared this while attending the Dubai premiere of Pole to Pole with Will Smith, produced by National Geographic.

Speaking to Gulf News, the Academy Award winner said he has long been interested in working in Indian cinema. He confirmed that conversations with Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan took place over the years, including lighthearted exchanges with Bachchan, but none of the ideas progressed to production. Smith added that he would love to break the trend by taking on a Bollywood role himself.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Will Smith openly said he hopes Shah Rukh Khan offers him a role and even joked about asking him directly to make it happen. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is busy filming King, while Smith is preparing for the January 13 premiere of Pole to Pole, a series documenting his 100-day journey through extreme environments.
