Bohurupi, a heist thriller directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, will stream on ZEE5 from May 9, 2025. Inspired by real bank robberies in West Bengal (1998-2005), the film follows Bikram (Shiboprosad Mukherjee), a man wrongfully imprisoned who becomes a master con artist. As he plans daring heists, he faces off with police officer Sumanta Ghosal (Abir Chatterjee). The film explores themes of betrayal, justice, and survival, with standout performances from Ritabhari Chakraborty and Koushani Mukherjee.
