Horror thrillers are dominating OTT, and audiences are hooked on this genre. One such film is Maa, a chilling story of Ambika (Kajol) and her daughter Shweta.

After her husband’s death, Ambika returns to her ancestral village, only to discover that young girls mysteriously vanish after their first menstrual cycle. The terrifying truth? A vengeful spirit resides in a banyan tree, demanding sacrifices.

Produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyothi Shantha Subbarayan under Devgn Pictures, Maa also stars Tanuja Devgan, Ronit Roy, Subhadra Sengupta, and Indraneel. Released in theaters on June 27 to strong collections, the film now premieres on Netflix from August 22 in both Hindi and Telugu. A must-watch for horror thriller fans.
