Panchayat, a hit village-based web series, gained huge popularity during the lockdown. After three successful seasons, the fourth is now streaming on Amazon Prime in Hindi.

Featuring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav in key roles, the series debuted in 2020 under the direction of Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat.

It follows a city boy who becomes a panchayat secretary in a remote village, dreaming of going abroad. Village life slowly changes him. Season 4 centers on local elections and continues the comedy-emotional mix. The series also found a new audience through its Telugu adaptation, titled Sivarapalli.
