The Hunt Web Series OTT Release Date Confirmed

“The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case” unfolds as a gripping retelling of one of India’s most pivotal investigations. Directed by National Award-winner Nagesh Kukunoor and inspired by Aniruddha Mitra’s book Ninety Days, the series dives deep into the high-stakes pursuit that followed the tragic assassination.

With Amit Sial portraying the resolute investigator D.R. Karthikeyan, the drama captures the emotional and procedural intensity of the case. Premiering July 4 on Sony LIV, it promises a compelling blend of history, justice, and human resilience.

Amit Sial shared that playing such a respectful and determined figure was a great responsibility. One powerful moment shows Karthikeyan at the blast site, where only dried blood remained.
