Tumbbad Returns to OTT: Streaming Now on Amazon Prime with Telugu Audio

"Tumbbad" is one of the films that thrilled audiences despite being a small-scale release. Later, it gained popularity on OTT across different languages. After its re-release last year, the film collected over ₹31 crores, nearly three times more than its original earnings. Initially available on Amazon Prime Video, the movie was removed from the platform before its re-release.

After the theatrical run, fans eagerly waited for its OTT return, and now there’s good news—"Tumbbad" is back on streaming platforms. It is now available on Amazon Prime Video with a Telugu audio option. Inspired by Maharashtrian folklore, the film was shot in real locations during actual rainfall, adding to its authenticity. The movie was directed by Rahi Anil Barve.

A sequel, "Tumbbad 2", is in the works, with pre-production and script development nearing completion. Actor and producer Sohum Shah confirmed that the film will soon go on floors. He stated, "Tumbbad was a special journey for us, made with love and dedication. The overwhelming response has inspired us to explore the story further. 'Tumbbad 2' will introduce a whole new world with unexpected twists, showing what happens when hope has no limits."
