Varun Kattimani’s Kannada political crime thriller Bayaluseeme, released in August 2023, is now available on Amazon Prime Video for Rs 99 under transactional video on demand (TVOD). The film, set in North Karnataka’s Gajendragad, follows Ramu (Kattimani), a supporter of an honest politician, Baburao Shinde (TS Nagabharana). As Ramu's life is disrupted by a drug dealer and a convict aiming to challenge Shinde’s political influence, themes of betrayal, loyalty, and justice emerge.

The film highlights the use of the Jowari dialect, adding authenticity to its portrayal of North Karnataka’s culture and socio-political dynamics. Bayaluseeme also stars Archana Kottige and Bhavani Prakash, with a technical team led by cinematographer Sujay Kumar Bawikatti and music director Manasa Holla.
