Fans of Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep can look forward to Max, his 46th film, hitting theaters this Christmas on December 25. Directed by debutant Vijay Kartikeyaa and produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu, the action-packed thriller will be released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.

The film has secured its satellite and digital rights with Zee Network for a reported ₹28 crore. Following its theatrical run, Max is expected to stream on Zee5, possibly following a 30-day release window, similar to Sudeep’s previous film, Vikrant Rona.

In Max, Sudeep plays Arjun Mahakshay, a cop resuming duty after suspension, navigating intense events in a single night. Though speculated to have similarities with Ravi Teja’s Krack, the team insists it’s an original story. With music by Ajaneesh Loknath, the film also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samyukta Hornad, Sunil, and others.

As Max gears up for its December release, Sudeep, currently hosting Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11, will begin promotions on December 1.
