Rishab Shetty-produced cop comedy Laughing Buddha, starring Pramod Shetty, which first hit theatres in August 2024, will now be available on a second streaming platform. After a successful run on Amazon Prime Video since October 18, 2024, the film will make its debut on Sun NXT starting April 25, 2025.

Directed by Bharath Raj M (who previously worked with Shetty on Hero), the film is a non-exclusive deal following its initial 6-month agreement. The plot follows Pramod Shetty as Govardhan, a food-loving constable who uses his charm to solve cases. Diganth plays the crook, a role initially intended for Rishab Shetty, who is focused on his upcoming Kantara sequel, Kantara: Chapter 1, set for a theatrical release in October 2025.
