The Kannada psychological thriller Nimitta Matra, featuring Sangeetha Rajeev in the lead, is set to premiere on Sun NXT on May 30. Directed by Roshan D’Souza, the film explores an investigative journalist’s journey into a 15-year-old mystery in Mangaluru, combining suspense with parapsychology.

Though the film received praise for its unique theme, it didn’t perform well at the box office. The cast includes Poornachandra Mysuru, Aravind Kuplikar, and others.

Produced by Silver Opera Production, the film features music by Sangeetha Rajeev, who not only composed and performed the soundtrack but also contributed to the screenplay, marking her Kannada film debut after her appearance in Bollywood’s Red Collar (2024).
