UI Movie OTT Release Date Fix

Kannada star hero Upendra's latest movie UI is set for its OTT release. Once known for delivering back-to-back hits, Upendra took a long break and returned with this sci-fi action drama. Released on December 20 last year, the film received a mixed response. Upendra himself directed the movie and impressed audiences with his remarkable performance despite the mixed talk in theaters. Made with a budget of around ₹80 crore, the film managed to collect only ₹47 crore. After a long theatrical run, it is now coming to OTT, and reports suggest that it will be released simultaneously on TV as well.

Zee Network has reportedly acquired the OTT streaming rights, while Zee Kannada has secured the TV premiere rights. The makers announced that the movie will be telecast on Zee Kannada on March 30 at 4:30 PM as part of the Ugadi festival celebrations. However, there has been no official announcement yet regarding its OTT release. Similar to how Telugu films premiere on both platforms simultaneously during Sankranti, UI is also expected to release on both OTT and TV at the same time.

Regarding the story, UI, directed by Upendra, had a theatrical release where audiences found the movie mind-boggling. Viewers were seen reacting strangely while watching it.
