UI OTT Release Update: The makers of Upendra Rao and Reeshma Nanaiah's sci-fi dystopian action Kannada movie, UI, have clarified rumors about its OTT release. Despite earlier speculation, the film will not be released on the South OTT platform Sun NXT. Producer Sreekanth Kp debunked the claim, calling it "fake news" and confirmed that official announcements regarding OTT rights will only come from the movie’s verified channels. The film, which hit theaters on December 20, 2024, struggled at the box office, grossing only Rs 32.7 crore against its Rs 150 crore budget.
