Upendra’s directorial UI is set for a simultaneous TV and OTT release, following the trend set by Kiccha Sudeep's Max. The film, which had a decent theatrical opening on December 20, 2024, saw a decline in momentum after Max's release. While the satellite rights were reportedly bought by Zee Network, sources suggest UI will stream on Zee5. The film is expected to premiere on TV around Ugadi, with the tentative OTT release date set for March 30, 2025.

UI features Upendra in a double role as Satya and Kalki, set in a dystopian world that delves into ideological conflicts, power misuse, and the impact of technology and knowledge.
