Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s recent film, Bazooka, directed by debutant Deeno Dennis, was highly anticipated but turned out to be a box-office failure. Released on April 10, 2025, the action-thriller received negative reviews and failed to impress audiences. Despite the poor theatrical performance, fans await its OTT release.

Featuring Mammootty with Gautham Vasudev Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, and Iswarya Menon in key roles, Bazooka was produced with an estimated budget of Rs 25-28 crore. The film earned approximately Rs 27.35 crore worldwide, with about Rs 13.86 crore net in India and Rs 11 crore overseas.

According to The Indian Express, Bazooka’s OTT rights were bought by Zee5. Latest reports from Asianet suggest the film will premiere on Zee5 on June 5, 2025, but no official announcement has been made yet.
