Saiju Kurup's film Bharathanatyam is set to stream on ManoramaMAX starting September 27, as announced by the makers on Monday. The film, which marks Saiju's debut as a producer, was directed by newcomer Krishnadas Murali, who also wrote the script. It was released in theaters on August 30.

The cast includes Saikumar, Swathi Das Prabhu, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Nandu Poduval, Divya M Nair, Kalaranjini, and Sruthy Suresh in prominent roles. The technical team features cinematographer Bablu Aju, music director Samuel Aby, and editor Shadeeque VB. Bharathanatyam is produced by Lini Mariam David under the banner of Thomas Thiruvalla Films, in collaboration with Saiju Kurup Entertainments.

A review from Cinema Express notes, “While Bharathanatyam does not break new ground in its storyline, its treatment is enjoyable, with relatable characters and a concise runtime of just two hours. The film wisely avoids excessive melodrama, a common pitfall in narratives involving family secrets.”
