"Released in theatres on October 17, 2024, Bougainvillea has been directed by Amal Neerad, who also co-wrote the script with Lajo Jose. Jointly produced by Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures, Bougainvillea is inspired by Lajo Jose's novel Ruthinte Lokam (2019). Anend C. Chandran handled the cinematography for this thriller, with Vivek Harshan on the editing desk. Sushin Shyam composed the music for this.
