Thekku Vadakku, a Malayalam comedy-drama starring Vinayakan of Jailer fame and Suraj Venjaramudu, will stream on Manorama Max and Simply South starting November 19. Directed by Prem Kumar, the film centers on an ego clash between a retired government employee and a rice mill owner over a land dispute.

Despite strong performances, the movie failed at the box office, collecting less than ₹1 crore due to weak comedy and an unconvincing concept. Inspired by serious films like Ayyappanum Koshiyam, Thekku Vadakku attempted a lighter, satirical approach but didn’t resonate with audiences.

Vinayakan, known for his villainous roles, takes a comedic turn, while Suraj Venjaramudu adds depth to his character. The film is now available for streaming on both OTT platforms.
